Nathan announced today for Earth Day that he wants to be a Trash Man when he gets big. He says he wants to clean up the trash and recycle all the bottles. All day in the car he would point out anywhere he saw trash outside. He is going to get the extra chore of being our official household recycler. I hope I live up to his GREEN expectations. So on behalf of our little Tree Hugger, please reduce, reuse and recycle.

I'm sorry for not doing better at updating. I will try better. Let's see Dustin is 7 and is a busy 1st grader. He loves playing golf with Daddy and playing baseball. Pamela is 6 and in Kindergarten. She is still our Drama Queen. She loves to color and play with her baby dolls with Brooke. Nathan is 4 and is a busy Preschooler. He keeps us on our toes. He loves playing with his cars. Brooke is 2 now, and boy is she 2. She loves playing with her siblings and being a little Mommy to her babies.

Let's see my new hobby is Coupons. My Dad has to be so proud. He is the Coupon King. I think I'm going to start posting every Monday my Walgreens scores. My goal is to see how much I can get with 20 dollars. It really is kinda fun.

Well I will update more later, need to wash Dustin's uniform for tonights game.

A free moment on a Friday night is rare around here. Pamela and Nathan are in bed. Jon took Dustin to a football game. Brooke is hanging out with Mommy. So I decided I'd do an update. This school year has brought a new set of challenges. First being I have 3 kids in school with 2 drop off times and 3 pick up times. Second being 2 kids having Homework to be completed. I must say the blessing for me is, since Jon switched from AP at the High School to AP at the middle school. He is home earlier and not tons of nights out supervising something. That means this year we get to see him on Friday nights during the football season.

Dustin is loving 1st grade. His teacher is Awesome and it seems to be the perfect fit for him. She is structured and nuturing. He has started the year on a good tone, which is outstanding for Jon and I to see. He is starting to read more and still loving the 3 recesses. He has also found a new love for golf. He decided against fall baseball and we found a golf lesson class for his age group. Daddy is beyond thrilled in hopes this will increase his golf playing time, I'm sure!  Dustin will also start participating in the boys church group that meets once a week.

Pamela is our new Kindergartner! This has been a tough adjustment. She has started acting up in class and at home. She reverted back to some old behavior things we thought we nipped in the bud months ago. So we have chosen to focus on 1 behavior problem at a time. Thankfully her teacher is working with us. We think we have found a new reward system that she is excited about. Keep her in your prayers! She will also be starting to participate in the girls church group that meets once a week.

Nathan started Preschool. He had the same attitude as his brother. Bye Mommy! He is so different in comparison to our older 2. I'm not sure what curve balls this one will throw our way. His second day at school his teacher informed me, that when it was time to come sit down and do some learning he said No thank you I just want to play. She was so impressed that at least he was polite about it. That is Nathan's attitude though, he isn't really interested in letters and numbers with same excitement as the older ones. He is still my cuddler and wants to be on Mommy's lap whenever Brooke will share my lap with him.

Brooke is growing way to fast. She is talking so much. She is into playing with her babydolls lately. Her 2 favorite characters are Abby Cadabby and Dora the Explorer. She has the best ability to make you stop and just enjoy the moment. We stop and smell the flowers. Or sit longer in the car at school so she can watch all the buses go by. It's been fun having some Mommy and me time with her while the others are at school.

Ok, I must run Brooke is getting cranky and I smell something stinky.

The new school  year has started and I have resumed my Taxi duties. Dustin is in 1st grade. Pamela started Kindergarten and Nathan started Preschool. Brooke is going to be sick of her car seat by the time the school year ends. We had a wonderful Summer. We started with a road trip up North for a family reunion. Then we celebrated Nathan's 4th birthday with a trip to Sea World. We fit in a trip to the Beach and numerous other fun things. Jon and I also celebrated our 8 year anniversary. The kids are growing so fast. We are busy, but love every minute we have with our 4 blessings. Stay tuned to see what exciting things await our family this school year!
